Julia Hummer LPC, ATR-P

Hi, I’m Julia Hummer, an art therapist who loves helping children and adults find healing and growth through creativity and connection. When I’m not in the studio or working with clients, I enjoy making spending time outdoors rafting, skiing, practicing yoga and soaking in the beauty of nature. These passions inspire my work and the safe, supportive environment I strive to create for every client.

Art Therapy

In my practice, I specialize in art therapy, guiding clients to explore their emotions and challenges through creative expression. Whether it’s painting, drawing, or another medium, art can be a powerful way to communicate and process feelings that might be difficult to put into words.

Therapy with Goose

I offer animal-assisted therapy with the help of my incredible ATD certified therapy dog, Goose. Goose is calm, empathetic, and deeply attuned to the emotions of those around him. His gentle presence helps create a space of comfort and connection, allowing clients to feel more at ease as they work through challenges. Goose has a special ability to sense when someone needs extra support, often offering quiet reassurance simply by being nearby. Together, we aim to make each session a safe and healing experience.

I offer a select few weekly sessions using animal-assisted farm therapy at the Warm Spring Care Farm. This type of therapy is a great option for children and teens who would benefit from counseling services in an outdoor animal interactive setting.
