About Me

Hi, I’m David Miller, a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with teens and adults navigating life’s challenges and seeking meaningful growth. I specialize in helping people build confidence, self-compassion, and discipline—the core foundations for living a life that aligns with their values and goals. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of your next steps, I offer a supportive space to explore what’s holding you back and how to move forward.

In addition to my general counseling work, I also offer therapy focused on relationships and intimacy, which you can learn more about below. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe that lasting change comes from a mix of compassionate support and honest reflection, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

Supporting You

Life can feel overwhelming when you’re unsure of your direction or disconnected from who you want to be. I work with adults who are struggling with confidence, motivation, anxiety, or a general sense of feeling stuck. Together, we identify the patterns and beliefs that may be holding you back and work toward building self-compassion, clarity, and a sense of purpose.

Therapy isn’t about being told what to do—it’s about discovering your own strengths and learning how to move forward in a way that feels true to you. I’m here to offer honest support, ask thoughtful questions, and help you reconnect with the version of yourself you want to grow into.

Supporting Your

Relationship

Relationships are deeply meaningful—and sometimes deeply challenging. Whether you're navigating conflict, disconnection, communication breakdowns, or rebuilding trust, I help couples slow things down and get back to what matters. My work with couples focuses on clear communication, emotional safety, and shared values, so you can feel more connected and supported in your partnership.

I meet each couple where they are and help them define what a healthy relationship looks like to them. Whether you're in crisis or simply want to strengthen your bond, I offer a non-judgmental space to do the hard, meaningful work of building a stronger relationship together.

Some couples also seek support around physical intimacy or challenges in their sexual relationship. These are deeply personal topics that deserve care and respect. If you're looking for help in this area, I offer specialized sex therapy services, which you can learn more about at the link below:

Supporting Teens

Adolescence can be a turbulent time—for teens and their parents. I work with teens who are struggling with motivation, confidence, emotional regulation, identity, and relationships. My background includes experience in wilderness therapy, where I learned the importance of combining clear structure with authentic connection. Teens need boundaries, but more than anything, they need someone who will treat them with respect and speak to them like the young adults they are becoming.

In my work, I focus on helping teens develop the self-awareness, discipline, and resilience they need to navigate challenges and take ownership of their choices. I offer a space where they can be heard, supported, and gently challenged. If your teen is feeling stuck, acting out, or simply needs someone outside the family to talk to, I’m here to help you both find a way forward.
